Mohammadreza Sharbaf is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Engineering at the University of Isfahan. He is interested in Model-Driven Software Engineering (Domain-Specific Modeling Languages, Model Management, and Model Transformation), Low-Code Development Platforms, Software Development Methodologies, Design Patterns, and Semantic Web (Semantic Reasoning). His current research is focused on collaborative modeling, in particular, worked on model comparison and merging, conflict management, model versioning, and multi-view modeling. Mohammadreza received his B.Sc. from the Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, in 2013, and his M.Sc and Ph.D from the University of Isfahan, Isfahan, Iran in 2016 and 2022, both in Computer Engineering (Software). Now, he is the director of Model-Driven Software Engineering Research Group (MDSERG) at University of Isfahan.

Bahman Zamani

Colleague (Founder)

Bahman Zamani received his B.Sc. from the University of Isfahan, Isfahan, Iran, in 1991, and his M.Sc. from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1997, both in Computer Engineering (Software). He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Concordia University, Montreal, QC, Canada, in 2009. From 1998 to 2003, he was a researcher and faculty member of the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST)—Isfahan branch. Dr. Zamani joined the Faculty of Computer Engineering at the University of Isfahan in 2009, as an Assistant Professor. In 2018, he was promoted to Associate Professor. His main research interest is Model-Driven Software Engineering (MDSE). He is the founder of MDSE research group at the University of Isfahan, and he acted as the director of this group until September 2023. Dr. Zamani was retired on September 2022.

Shekoufeh Kolahdouz-Rahimi is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Engineering Department at the University of Isfahan. She is an active member of the Model Driven Software Engineering Research Group at this University. She has completed her PhD in Computer Science at Kings College London in 2013. Her research interest includes Design patterns for Model Transformation, Specification and Verification of Model Transformations, Bidirectional Model Transformations, Domain-Specific Modelling Languages and Search-Based Software Engineering.

Afsaneh Fatemi received her B.Sc. from the Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, in 1995, and her M.Sc. and Ph.D from the University of Isfahan, Isfahan, Iran in 2001 and 2012, all in Computer Software Engineering. She joined the Faculty of Computer Engineering at the University of Isfahan in 2013, as an assistant professor. Her main research interests lie in the fields of Complex Networks, Multi-Agent Systems, and Emergency-Response Systems’ Modeling. She has been collaborating with the MDSE research group from 2014.

Behrouz Tork Ladani holds a bachelor's in Computer Engineering from University of Isfahan, MSc. in Software Engineering from Amir Kabir University of Technology and a Ph.D. in Software Engineering from University of Tarbiat Modarres. He joined University of Isfahan (UI) in 2005 and currently is a full professor in the Faculty of Computer Engineering at this University. His research interest is around modeling, analysis and verification of security in information syetems including software security (vulnerability detection and malware analysis), and soft security (computational trust and rumor control in social networks).

Leila Samimi-Dehkordi

Leila Samimi-Dehkordi is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Engineering Department at Shahrekord University. She received her B.Sc. in Software Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in March 2008 and an M.Sc. in Algorithms and Computation from University of Tehran (UT) in January 2011. She obtained Ph.D. in Software Engineering under supervision of Dr. Zamani and advision of Dr. Kolahdouz-Rahimi from University of Isfahan in April 2019. Her Ph.D. research was focusing on Model-Driven Development, Bidirectional Model Transformations, Traceability, and Change Propagations. She has joined to Model-Driven Software Engineering Research Group (MDSERG) in September 2012. Her research is now about model-driven and low-code development, gamification, and software language engineering.

Hossein Moradi

Hossein Moradi is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Engineering Department at Birjand University of Technology. He received his B.Sc. in Software Engineering in 2005 from University of Birjand and his M.Sc. in Information Technology Engineering in 2008 from Tarbiat Modares University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Software Engineering under supervision of Dr. Zamani from University of Isfahan in 2020. He has been a member of the MDSE research group since 2014. Hossein is interested in entrepreneurship and has launched his first start-up, Uspace.ir (Ecotourism booking platform) since 2015. In December 2018, he was selected as the top researcher in technology and entrepreneurship in the South Khorasan province of Iran. His research interests include Model-Driven Software Engineering, Pervasive Computing, Service Oriented Computing, Business Process Management, Enterprise Integration, e-Business, and Start-up Development.
