BICGen is a model-based framework that offers a textual domain-specific language to specify Business Intelligence chatbots. This framework automatically generates business intelligence chatbots for organizations and can be customized based on the organizational structure. Each chatbot in BICGen consists of three main components. The first component is a text-based modeling language that helps users model their business intentions based on organizational data. The second is the automation component that automatically generates chatbot codes for a relevant communication platform. Finally, the generated chatbot codes are deployed and configured as a chatbot for organizational users in the third component. This framework is helpful for business managers that have insufficient knowledge of programming and intend to have a personalized chatbot for organization requirements.
