Android applications need to be provided with a secure environment for users, data, and communications with other applications. Android is an Eclipse-based tool in the field of Android security. This tool automatically identifies the Intent Spoofing and Unauthorized Intent Receipt as two attacks related to the Android application communication model.
In fact, a new approach is proposed to conduct static analysis for Android apps, and a framework is built based on MDRE to identify security risks and vulnerabilities related to the Android application communication model. This framework is called VAnDroid. The proposed approach identifies vulnerabilities in the context of communications between components, including two important categories of Intent Spoofing and Unauthorized Intent Receipt.
